There were not many people who could make the Lady lose her temper.

That her husband was chief on the list was known to the servants.

There was always that moment, when Soredon went near her as she was working, that they servants would pause, waiting to hear if there was to be an explosion.

They never expected such when it was merely visiting Ladies. Their beloved lady in a temper over some insult offered to one of the boys would have long reaching effects, on the lands and at other gatherings.

With luck, it would not come to bloodshed.

She wasn’t going to be universally loved. She realized that. Not everyone was the Unsullied, so embracing of the freedom and protection that she’d offered. To break the wheel, to do what she needed to do, she was going to make enemies. Those that didn’t bend the knee would face her wrath. It was that simple. Her advisors knew what her plans were. They’d come with her this far on the journey and now they were counseling restraint? It was ludicrous to ask her to stop now, not when they were so close. Those at Kings Landing would bend the knee… or they would burn.
