Author's Notes: I'm cheating a little and taking the two hit wonder of the security guard in Arq-Tech, because I wanted to still concentrate on Jillian for these and that guard is the only minor female character Jillian interacts with who has lines. And her two scenes are both very short and similar, so, she's basically a one-hit wonder anyways. She does not have a canonical name, but the actress is called Nikol, so I chose Nik.

These three fics take place after s2 (after the available canon, then) and mostly deal with the aftermath of a more personal sort of "end of the world as we know it": one where science and faith aren't as antagonistic as they once were, where Jillian has lost her son and Mother Superion must face certain new facts, all while a wider end of the world hangs in the horizon.

Notes: This is a sister story to Gnosis but each stands alone. They touch upon similar themes and feature a common action, both starting from the end of season two, but the focus and the execution in them are wholly different (or so I should hope).

Summary: In the aftermath of a tempest, bits of wreckage find their way to damaged shores while the waters slowly smoothen. Blame and responsibility claim their victims, scams creep behind the letter of the law and, underwater, the past constantly reconfigures the present...
