Welcome to HalfaMoon 2026! We're kicking things off with the theme of The Innocent.

Here are some ideas to get you started: When I think of the innocent, I think of someone untried by the world. Whether she is a young girl, testing things out for the first time, or maybe someone older enthusiastically venturing into a place or situation where she hasn't taken the time to think of the consequences of her actions. Is the innocent always the damsel in distress or does her lack of cynicism help her find a solution more easily?

Just go wherever the Muse takes you. If this prompt doesn't speak to you, feel free to share something that does. You can post in a separate entry or as a comment to this post.

She's the very definition of innocent. So I found her a friendly counterpart who was the opposite of that. Please ignore any imagined time differential between the two worlds and just let it happen.

Author's Notes: This is strictly from Jee's POV, and is very critical of her parents (as teenagers tend to be.) Author's Notes: I decided to approach this year's Halfamoon a little unconventionally and am going to write an overarching fic for all the prompts, one chapter per prompt. The prompts really felt connected to me and it immediately brought an isekai to mind, which I then combined with a litrpg. It's my first time writing both and it's not following the rules for them very strictly, my goal is to have fun more than to follow the genre conventions meticulously.
