Really believable glimpse into the soul that is tormented both by guilt and wounded pride. Mostly guilt, though. We can see Luna isn't really a bad person since her conscience is pretty strong and it doesn't let her off the hook. She's trying to escape it, but there doesn't seem to be any openings, it's like running up the wall. And the ending is quite heavy, she's left with a grief for two sins now. This fic is good, it really shows that position of authority comes with responsibility, and the stakes are high

Thank you so much for your kind words! I personally really love the idea of Luna being incredibly good at making things worse for herself. She's stuck in a position when she is forced to make difficult decisions with few to no good outcomes, but even more so, she keeps making the wrong choices. Doomed by the narrative and by her own personality (the woman's ego is that big).
