“What's wrong?” Tara asked.
“Put it away, smudge it, something!”
“Oh-kay.” Tara withdrew the card from the table. “It's going to be an incomplete reading though.”
“That's fine. As long as you don't pull out any more cards with vicious beasts on it, we're good. I need a drink.”
“There's a soda machine down the hall.”
“A real drink.”
“Ooh, do you have a fake ID?”
“I'm over a thou-”
“No, she doesn't,” said Willow, sharply, shooting Anya a look.
“Stupid human body,” Anya muttered.
“She's missing a card,” Willow noted, looking at the Tarot setup that Tara had laid out.
“We decided against that card,” Anya said.
“What was it?”
“Queen of Pentacles.”
“Hmm... oh, is that the one with the...”
Anya started humming loudly. Willow formed a rabbit shadow puppet with her hand and bounced it along. Tara nodded.
“Probably best to leave that one out.”
“Burn it up, never use it again. They're after me,” she whispered.
“Who?”
“The bunnies,” Anya shuddered.
Tara shook her head. Willow's friends were a bit strange. Willow was okay though and if being with Willow's friends meant being with Willow, she would take it.
