She'd also tried her hand at teaching -- and that had been what had convinced her to change careers: the thought of spending the rest of her life alternately cajoling and bullying full-of-themselves divas-to-be had made her blood run cold.
Her well-developed stage presence still serves her very well, however, whenever she has to deal with patients like Dee Laytner and Warren Smith.
