How does she (or does she) finally find the courage to let go? What has changed to make this letting go even possible, and how does she change after?

I am very much playing catch up and not sure whether I'll be able to post the remaining seven chapters (four of which are still unwritten) today and tomorrow. I'll try though, after my little hiatus I got a lot of newfound motivation.
