halfamoonThe best characters are three-dimensional and while we like to think our faves are perfect in every way, that can get a bit boring. There's no plot development unless they screw up, no emotional pull if they aren't vulnerable in some way.
Here are some ideas to get you started: Show a moment of weakness, talk about an episode where their flaw got them into trouble, or make up a completely new weakness for them. It doesn't have to be a heavy, message of the week kind of thing, their weakness could be chocolate or redheads or redheads bearing chocolate. Go where your imagination takes you.
Just go wherever the Muse takes you. If this prompt doesn't speak to you, feel free to share something that does. You can post in a separate entry or as a comment to this post.

Date: 2025-02-06 08:48 pm (UTC)"Maa's head hurts..." Maa mumbled, staring at the page. "How long until my next chocolate?"
"The next chapter is three pages away." Rou answered, petting Maa's head. "Don't worry, it'll get easier." She said, hoping it were true. Ah, the downsides of being such a prodigal cat!
After Maa finished the chapter and took a relieved bite out of her chocolate, Rou took a moment to ask. "How'd you like it?"
"Maa didn't understand any of it!"
Rou sighed. She felt... bad. She handed Maa an extra chocolate. "This isn't working, I'm sorry."
"... I know. Most cats aren't smart like you, Rou... I wish I was smart too!" Maa yelled. "Then I could think up all good ways to make food! And we could be smart together!" She hugged Rou, and Rou purred a little on instinct.
... Even if Maa wasn't smart, she was at least always sweet...
