This is a terrific post-canon fic of the classic film The Apartment, written from Fran's point of view, and focused on Fran's growth and the development of her continuing relationship with C.C. Baxter after the events of canon. And in a way it does tie into today's theme of "barriers". If you're a fan of the movie, I highlight recommend this.
