halfamoonThis post marks the end of the 2024 HalfAMoon Fest. It has been a phenomenal year with close to 200 individual posts in some diverse fandoms.
Whether you posted on one day or all fourteen, brought graphics, fics, vids, podcasts, meta, and recs or just came through and commented, thank you for making this a wonderful experience. Thanks also to everyone who promoted the community on their own pages.
I'm slowly going through and commenting on entries and making a masterlist. I'm making no promises on the timing of the masterlist this year, just that it will be up at some point before the 2025 fest.
If you have any thoughts on topics or ways to make next year's fest better, I welcome them in the comments. If you feel like this is something you would like to help out with next year, let me know that in the comments as well.

Date: 2024-02-19 04:37 pm (UTC)- Do not bother sorting by type of creation, unless it just makes you happier to sort it that granularly
- Go alphabetically by fandom and split it into at least two posts, maybe three or four. Both for your own workload and for the poor schmucks in fandoms at the end of the alphabet.
Thoughts for next time: It may be a little disheartening that there aren't any volunteers for next year popping up in the comments yet, but I think that's mainly because it's a year from now. Make a note in your planner to post a separate call for volunteers in January of 2025 when people know whether they'll be able to commit, and I think you'll get plenty of help.
