Even if we don’t read about it on the page or see it on screen, we know that our favorite characters are taking time every day to eat and drink. Food and drink are an important part of celebrations and different cultures have different ways of preparing meals.

Here are some ideas for inspiration: trying to impress someone with a meal, baking cookies together, a happy hour gone awry, having a negative relationship with food or drink- alcoholism or an eating disorder, a kitchen disaster, grocery shopping with a child, does your character have any food allergies or “food rules” (food can’t touch, absolutely no blueberries, having to know everything about a dish before they’ll try it, only drinks "wine", etc.)
