Day 3: Blood, Sweat, & Tears - Buffy, the Vampire Slayer

This prompt screamed Buffy to me. She literally poured all her blood, sweat, and tears into her job of saving the world from the forces of darkness and was vastly underappreciated for it too. She was a heroine who deserves all the love and understanding.

I made a banner of Buffy for the challenge which you can find HERE on my journal, but I also want to share a flashback clip of one of my favorite scenes from the show. It's the scene where Buffy tells her mom Joyce about being the slayer. It's such a powerful moment. The acting! The writing! The emotion! It's everything. They really don't make TV shows like this anymore.

I immediately thought about Buffy too but I worked all day and didn't have the time to prepare anything. Maybe I'll whip something up tomorrow.

Ah, loved the banner! 😍 And that clip is from one of my favorite episodes, though that fight with Joyce is heartbreaking. Buffy’s desperation is palpable. 💔

I hope you get you create something for this prompt. I'd love to see Buffy represented by someone who clearly loves her as much as you do. And I agree the clip is so heartbreaking. The angst wh0re in me though just loves the tragedy of it all. The actresses, particularly SMG, were dynamite.
