A Few Notes About Posting

Posting for the HalfAMoon fest begins at midnight on February 1. I realize that it comes at different times for everyone, please don't wait for me to post the daily prompt to post for that day, or to post anything at all. I will be posting the daily prompt most days between 6 & 7 a.m. CST so if you want to jump in then, that's fine too.

Here's the handy FAQ/intro post for any questions you may have on what is appropriate for the fest. Info about OFCs & gender identity can be found there.

Please be kind when commenting. Not every character/pairing is each person's cup of tea and that's as it should be, but no bashing a writer for their choices.

Above all, have fun. Show off your creativity in celebrating these wonderful women. Experiment. Rec wildly. Let us see your favorite characters in a new light or introduce us to some we haven't met yet.

Hi, I made some icons of Chicago Fire female characters but they don't fit any of the prompts per se. May I still add them to the group and if so, is there a special day I should post them on? Just curious. TY so much. I look forward to this event.

Feel free to add them to the group on any day that appeals to you. There's always an option to post something else if the theme of the day isn't working for you. I'm looking forward to seeing them!
