Summary: She thought she was going home to pick up something she forgot. Turns out it was the Accord messing with her again.

Nothing had changed when she came back home. She didn't even bother locking it any more. Nobody was going to go out of their way to mess with her stuff. Why bother? It was just a house she never visited. All her valuables were with her, all the time. Her many enemies had more serious things on their mind than messing with her house.

Still, she had this nagging feeling that she'd forgotten something important in that old shack in the mountains. Slaughtering her way through the usual countless ambushes lying in wait for her, she had returned to the little clearing with the pile of mud that her idiot dragon kept rolling around in, no matter how often she yelled at him for it. Inside the hut, the same old photos that no longer meant anything to her, some old, badly maintained spare weapons, a withering flower... She soon found she had searched the place from top to bottom and still couldn't think what the hell had possessed her to bother coming back here.

She looked up and saw that the woman was already standing over her, annoyingly neat and prim and self-satisfied. She was the only person who could have sneaked up on the Intoner. Hell, she didn't even have the aura of a living being, so Zero couldn't register her presence at all. Even her sisters sort of had an aura of rotting things that made her want to puke. The Accord might as well have not existed.

"Should've known it was something to do with you," muttered Zero, "You can never just ask like a normal person, can ya?"

"You don't remember us arranging this meeting?" she looked puzzled, "Oh yeah, I forgot you can't see across that time dimension..."

"Less crazy person talk, more telling me what the hell you want," she snapped.

"I'm afraid its crazy person talk I'm here to warn you about," she smiled.

Zero sighed. It was going to be another of those days.
