The focus is Diana Skouris and I'm for sure going to rec the other Diana Skouris story I wrote at some other point during this challenge. Love Diana.

EDIT: The 4400 was a TV series. Diana was played by Jacqueline McKenzie if you want a mental image.

This flawless fic was a gift for me in a holiday exchange, and I'm in love with it. ❤ It's a tiny story that is entirely a pre-canon childhood flashback, so no canon knowledge is necessary at all. Pure fluff, recommended if you're looking for something that could make you smile. :)

A 1913 Trapeze/Circus AU!

This story is told from Nick Jonas' point of view, but it's very much focused on Demi's rise as a superstar and her dedication to her craft: which in this AU is flying on the trapeze in the 1910s! Demi is multi-dimensional and conflicted, and Nick is respectful and sexy. The details about the 1910s and "showbiz" are so cool and immersive. There was a lot of research that clearly went into this fic. I didn't know anything about the American Circus until I read this, but it's easy to read even without any knowledge of the characters or the time period.

I also wanted to recc the gift I got for Yuletide this year. It's a 1920s AU complete with spies, bootlegging, an awesome party, and 1920s fashion and tech! You definitely don't have to be familiar with Nikita to read. As is typical with this canon, this fic is all about the ladies getting sh*t done. Alex and Nikita really shine as skilled spies and partners.
