Tell us about your favorite female friendships! How did they become friends? What do they do to show their love for each other? How far are they willing to go to support their friend? What is is that makes them special?
My favorite friendships on TV right now are between the liars from Pretty Little Liars. They begin the show estranged after the murder of their fifth friend and Queen Bee, but come back together, stronger than ever, when they are terrorized by "A." Emily, Spencer, Aria, and Hanna have individual strengths but are safer and tougher together. They're all different but complement each other. They ALWAYS have each others' backs and will do anything to support one another. In a strange way, I like it when one more more gets in a fight with another or the rest because it means it won't be too long before they forgive each other and move on. It's the antidote to all the cattiness between women on television.
