Date: 2011-02-14 01:30 am (UTC)and you are very welcome. That trio of fics was responsible for taking me beyond the sheltered waters of kimandkerry.com fanfic and into slightly deeper waters.
Also, as a fan of erotic fiction, I found the same imagination; wit, and respect for characters that I often found in lesbian erotica; or that written by straight women, but found largely lacking in most of male-written material.
Not that I don't like porn at times, but to make a story you need more than the desire to 'get off'.
I just checked your file, and spotted two authors of whom I am fans in a list there; Anne McCaffrey & Pat Califia. A former co-worker; a dyke, lent me a book of the latters set in a dystopian future, which was dark, without being depressing, and the formers Pern series has been a staple of my reading material since I was fifteen years old *pre-Thatcher & Reagan*; reading about the Masterharper's death, and subsequent funeral only a couple of years ago; reading all night I might add, had me crying as if I was mourning the death of a life-long friend.
So grateful for that fic; I've never forgotten it; never will.
