Here are seven of my favorites, vids I found over the years and still rewatch all the time:

Buffyverse
Faith: Living Dead Girl by bradcpu
A powerful, inventive Faith character study. Great choice of song!

Illyria: "Illyria" Opening Credits by illyrium24
The editing is superb, and it really gets the feeling across... Illyria's personal brand of creepy meets badass, demon meets humanity.

Lilah Morgan: without me by sisabet and Dr. Dawn
Evil lawyer issues aside, Lilah Morgan was fun. As is this vid, pure fun to watch.

Buffy Summers: Peacekeeper by sisabet (youtube)
Really beautiful!

Sarah Walker: Creator by talitha78
Thrill is to make it up. The song is the perfect choice for Sarah... so perfect, actually, that it was recently used on the show as well.

Stargate Atlantis
Sam Carter: 'Finders' AU credits by friendshipper
The credits of a fictional 80s-style tv show ("Birds of Prey meets the A-Team") with Sam Carter, Teyla Emmagan, and Jennifer Keller in the lead roles. I love it to bits.
(note: doesn't run in all players, but VLC works fine.)

Princess Tutu
Hold Me Now by Marissa Panaccio
Strangely compelling. I started watching the anime because of this vid.

It's really brilliant. (The internet seems to agree... 1.5 million hits on YT? Yowza!)

This is only the second time a fan vid got me into a new canon. Normally I need a familiarity with the characters to understand and enjoy a vid, but this one works whether you know the show or not.
