goodbyebird: Batman returns: Catwoman seen through a glass window. (TGW we've always had bad timing)

The Good Wife rocketed to the tippytop of my Must See TV list, and has stayed firmly in place ever since. If you haven't given this a shot due to the title(held me back for a while there), or because it's a show about lawyers, well, you are cheating yourself of some of the most complex, well written, competent and featured ladies(of all age groups, and even the one or two episode parts happen to be women a lot of the time, and standout female characters in a matter of minutes, which is just such an achievement in and of itself. Oh look! It's a woman for no reason what so ever, her vagina isn't a plot point in the least! *shock*) in charge that are currently on TV. I tell no lies.

Want. Take. have.

...Now I feel kinda bad I don't have any Damages icons to post lol.

And one Yuletide fic rec to top things off!

low hanging fruit of the poisonous tree by kel.
Carey laughed, but not in a mean way, because he really was a golden retriever dressed up in a wool camel coat.
All the characters in this come out as well drawn, and I doubt I'll ever see Kalinda's POV done more justice than in this story. One of my top three fics to come out of yuletide this year. Highly recommended!

(doesn't look like The Good Wife has a tag)

I've been toying with the idea of watching this show as it does feature so many strong women. I'll go ahead and give it a try :)

Oh, it's you! *waves* I didn't remember your name outside of Fringe context. :-)

I finished season 1 (http://daybreak777.livejournal.com/243277.html)! I'm waiting for season 2 at the library so we'll see. I have some busyness coming up the next few weeks. I was actually hoping to start season 2.0 this weekend and I'll see if I can make it halfway.

We'll see!

Angel. (http://daybreak777.livejournal.com/243608.html) :-) Definitely worth a rewatch. :-) (Spoilers there if you haven't seen the entire show.)

I am currently looking through your journal for your reactions to TGW. And I just read that awesome Kalinda story. :-)

I need support for season 2 of Fringe. Yup. But what changed was I discussed the show with a stranger and that person told me you have to stick it out. A stranger! Other season 1 viewers also left confused comments at my original Fringe post. Yup, with that show one definitely needs support.

So much media!

Yay, these are delightful! I especially love the cropping on the ones with Kalinda and Alicia.
