There isn't much Bible-fic out there, but the little there is tends to be very good. What's even greater that many of these stories are about women.

First, I would like to recommend an author: [livejournal.com profile] daegaer is a multi-fandom author who has written a great deal of Bible-fic herself, which are available in her memories. Little Dogs, for example, takes a nameless woman from the Bible and gives her a life and a personality, while This is Jezebel is a retelling of Jezebel's death, from Jezebel's own point of view. There isn't one story among her Bible-fic that I wouldn't recommend.

There are also several Bible-fics in the Yuletide-archive, and a lot of last year's stories were about women. Here are some that I liked.

One Little Ewe Lamb, by [livejournal.com profile] quasiradiant. A short, painful story about Batsheva.

Sweet, Salt, and Bitter, by [livejournal.com profile] wisdomeagle. A take on Rachel/Leah-sisterhood. Contains incest.

The Testimony of Batsheba, by mojavedragonfly (IJ). Young Batsheba tells the story of her family.

Writhed in the Birthing of Her
, by [livejournal.com profile] fresne. Story of Deborah, Bathsheba and Esther.

In the Shadow of Her Wings, by [livejournal.com profile] eponis. Ruth and Naomi, stories and God.

eta: Added one more rec beneath the cut.
