I love this celebration!  Here's a link to a blog post I wrote a few months ago called "My Feminism is 80s-Teen-Movie Flavored." It's about the source of my icon, which I never change cause I'm too lazy and because Billie Jean represents my values so perfectly. Has anyone out there seen "The Legend of Billie Jean?" It's from 1985 and I've come to think of it as my first feminist text.

If you haven't seen the movie, I hope you'll check it out. It's not on DVD, but you can now stream it on Netflix.

Thank you. Glad you liked the post. I'm so glad you've seen the movie, too. I'm always trying to get people to watch it with me. It's really underrated, IMHO.
