halfamoon | Picspam: The Awesome Ladies Of Princess Mononoke

There are a lot of really great Ghibli movies, but I decided to focus on this one in particular for a picspam. The reason behind this is Lady Eboshi. Technically, she's the villain of the movie but, unlike almost every other antagonist I've come across, it's not simply a case of good and evil with her. What she's trying to accomplish in the movie is a Bad Thing. But what she did prior to the movie events is fantastic. She took women out of brothels and those suffering leprosy in to gave them work, along with the feeling of worth and contribution when it comes to defending the town. That is fantastic.

Having said that, this picspam ended up being San-centric.
