Reboot recs: Gaila and Uhura

Following tassosss's great post with Star Trek XI recs:

rubynye writes fantastic Gaila and Uhura -- strong, self-affirming, sex-positive, even when terrible things sometimes happen to them. I highly recommend browsing her gaila and uhura tags, or start with two stories that I've found especially memorable: Light That You Shine and an untitled noncon piece, both Gaila/Jim Kirk. Please heed the author's warnings; many stories, including both of these, contain potentially triggering material. (And many others are unabashedly fun romps, in case that makes you nervous.)

Seconding this rec! I've enjoyed all of Rubynye's fic, even if it didn't seem it was my sort of thing.
