Okay, so I love Buffy and Angel femslash/female-centric fic. Over the summer last year I went through a long period of being deeply obsessed with it. Though I haven't read much of it lately, I'm cracking out some of my favourite to rec here for you lovely people.

These are all female-centric, some slight het, lots of femslash and odd pairings. I'm not kidding. Odd pairings are my second favourite thing after femslash.

Fred/Faith, PG-13.
After a month of Friday night visits she kissed a brunette a few years her junior, a postgraduate student who was almost finished her PhD in archaeology. Excited and proud, she babbled out her new status as a girl-kissed back at the table. Knox ordered a round of celebratory drinks. Harmony just looked puzzled and asked why anybody would want to study arks.

It was later the same night that she bumped into Faith.

Dawn wanted to scream in frustration. She sped back to the college, slammed in to her dorm room, and picked up the phone. She ripped her slayer contact list off the wall and started dialing. Finding out who'd completely forgotten her was simple. She just had to cross off everyone who refused to accept her calls collect. The only people who even answered were the slayers she'd met since moving to Rome, and even they sounded kind of confused when Dawn questioned them about herself.
