There are those who critique her style. They say she is too casual- the way she sits in her chair, the fact that she wanders around barefoot, the way she stirs her tea- all denote someone who does not deserve the role of Chancellor.
No one underestimates the man with too-tight shoes who sits ramrod straight in his chair, barking out orders. They've underestimated her plenty of times. And that gives her the advantage. Nahla hasn't lived over four hundred years without learning a few tricks and if she can be comfortable doing her job, she's happier and that makes for a better experience for cadets and staff alike.
