Day 11 - Fic - Suikoden III - Queen
Feb. 11th, 2026 04:18 pmTitle: Beautiful Dreamer
Fandom: Suikoden III
Character(s): Queen
Rating: G
Summary: Queen is a pretty decent climber. (trades somewhat on my prior head canon of Queen as Tielle in her childhood)
Queen liked wandering around. There were places only she could reach (well, before they picked up Jacques- he was uncannily able to find hand holds and climb up to and even make it look easy). She wished she could bring Geddoe along (and get him away from Joker and Ace's continuous bickering), but that would have increased it several degrees of difficulty.
She stood on an overlook above the rest of her group. The vague sound of Ace and Joker arguing about something or other reached her ears. There was never any sound of Geddoe. He was the silent type. She sort of liked that.
She shaded her eyes and looked around. There were various paths and trails going amidst the stones on the other sides of the crooked mountains. They curled amidst the variegated chaparral and she doubted even her ability to move along them. Queen bent down and clasped the toes of her curved boots, rocking back slightly. The back of her clipped tabard touched the earth.
"Never forget- before you were Queen, you were Tielle," she spoke softly to herself. Sometimes she worried she might forget. And if she forgot, that meant that the Harmonians had won.
