Kaylee laughed, “'Cause you look at me in these overalls and say there's someone that men would want to get to know better.”
“It's not the overalls. I've watched your expression when you bite into a fresh strawberry.”
“I can't help that. When they're ripe, juicy, and delicious, they're just...” Kaylee made the face again and Inara laughed.
“I get it. I've also heard you telling Serenity that you want to hear her purr.”
“No better sound in the whole 'Verse.”
“I've watched you find a patch of grass to walk barefoot on every time we're planet-side.”
“It's just my way of connecting, feeling the energy of a place. It never quite feels like home until I do that.”
“And how you breathe in the scent of a mug of hot peppermint tea.”
