Summary: You know that worried expression Iku gets sometimes in the game? Yeah, that's what I was thinking of here.

Iku was often concerned about the needs of both Franz and Ruby. Obviously, Ruby didn't know much about his own needs other than what he needed to do to keep on living peacefully, but Franz on the hand... She really worried about him- a lot.

"Iku?" Franz asked. "Are you upset about something?" He had a feeling she had the most readable face in the world. It was her eyebrows or something.

She shook her head. "Oh, uh, no. Just thinking about things."

"What sort of things?" He could read her like a book (when he wasn't too distracted to try).

"...About you," she said softly.

"Oh, Iku," he took her in his arms and held her, just as gently as she had spoken, "You don't need to worry about me."

She turned her face to look at him, even while staying in his arms, "But I worry that I do-"

"Shh," he hugged her tight, "I can take care of myself."
