You know, I quite like it when there's two icons that work as a pair -- don't get me wrong, 1 and 4 are great, but the idea that two separate users could each use a combination between 2/3 and 5/6 and have matching icons throughout a conversation always strikes me as something very fun to do, so I say yay for these two pairs of icons especially :)
