😭 Hey, Arnold! Was such a legendary show, no magic, no safari parks, just a bunch of real kids and adults with their flaws and quirks in a melting pot of US. Helga's household was also like that, seemingly striving, but the parenting style — definitely less than ideal.

The theme of mental health is quite heavy in itself, but this fic is determined to be hopeful. It's difficult for the older generation to treat their problems seriously, it was easier to just drown the problems in the bottle. But here we can see that the daughters are supportive and caring, they have each other and will figure it out together.

Again, both kids and adults were equally important in the show, so yes, glad you wrote about her

I love writing about Miriam. She's such an interesting character. And yes, it's so hard to see how she treats Helga, but at the same time it's so easy to see her own pain and how it causes her to act.
