Summary: Never underestimate the tiny girl with the thin blade
Arya Stark had been a trained assassin. There had been other weapons, but Needle, her first blade, a gift from her brother John with the advice “Stick 'em with the pointy end” was by far her favorite. For anyone looking, the weapon itself seemed rather insignificant, and yet, in her very capable hands, it was deadly. People had tried to take it from her, but she always would recover it. It seemed to sing as she went through her practice moves, whistling through the air. With it, she was able to strike quickly and move more gracefully than with any other sword. Daggers felt heavy and clumsy in her hands, but Needle was an extension of herself, an extension of her will, and people soon learned not to underestimate either of them.
