Notes: This fic focuses on Kerry dealing with chronic pain and the ways that affects her as a medical professional, spouse, and mother. I read it in a week that I was dealing with pain so severe it was difficult for me to get up and make to the bathroom, and my own role as a caregiver had me feeling severe guilt. This definitely hit a familiar spot, and the sweetness between Sandy and Kerry makes a definite favorite.
