Liz Ortecho is a biomedical researcher who returns to her home town, but keeps up her science skills by doing dubiously ethical alien science research. She actually comes back to Roswell because her research project back in Colorado lost its funding. She works on a research project at Roswell General and for a biomedical engineering company over the course of the show. Her discoveries do save the lives of her friends, but her methods are questionable. Hence why I love her. She's one step away from being a mad scientist and grapples with her own morals at several points during the show. But no one can deny that Liz is highly educated and has some crazy skills!

At the beginning of season 4, she works as a science teacher at the high school for students trying to get their GED. She recognizes herself in a girl named Vanessa, and tries to be a mentor to her. I think it's an interesting nod to the original Roswell series. Here are a few icons of Liz as a teacher!

Could I get a Roswell New Mexico tag?

I haven't seen the show (or the original Roswell) but it and the character sound very interesting. The icons look great! I especially love the second one on the bottom row. It really caught my eye immediately. :D

I'm super behind the times on Halfamoon, but omg, yay! I'm SO stoked to see someone post about Roswell New Mexico because I fell into a hole in January and watched the entire show oops. :D

I love Liz, and I love that you chose to make icons of her working as a teacher - I loved seeing the educator/mentor side of her to compliment her mad science storylines. :D I especially like icon #6, where you captured such a great wide smile!
