"I sent Weaver Asimov's '3 Laws of Robotics,'" Cameron said as Sarah tried to sip her coffee.

"The ones about never hurting humans? And obeying humans?"

"And putting human life above machine self-preservation. Yes."

"And?"

"She messaged me that she liked it."

"She liked it," Sarah said, raising an eyebrow.

"She seemed to think I sent it as a joke."

Sarah paused. "Did you send it as a joke?"

"No. Well, mostly no."

Sarah sighed. "So why did you send it?"

Cameron tilted her head. "I wanted to see how she would respond. And she responded that it was hilarious."

"...And what did you learn about Weaver from that, exactly?"

"I'm not sure yet. But I did learn that someone thinks I'm funny."

"Well, that knowledge will definitely come in handy," Sarah said.

"I think so too," Cameron said.

For a minute, Sarah wanted to ask if Cameron believed that or was kidding, but the thought of getting an answer - any answer - to that question made her want to crawl back in bed. So she just nodded, hoping that their attempts to understand how Weaver thought wouldn't end... well, the way most of their plans ended.

She took a long sip of her coffee, and looked again at Cameron, wondering how anyone could find her funny.

I really liked this. And I did find it funny. I've yet to see the show, but I liked the dynamics between the Sarah and Cameron in this piece.

I never finished the show so parts of this story probably went over my head, but it's mostly all about the relationship between Cameron and Sarah anyway, which is where the fun is. :D

<3 <3 <3 The show got REALLY good in S2. But then cliffhanger ending and cancelled by FOX, so I can't really urge anyone that strongly to finish though I love it lol.

I honestly don't mind cliffhangers or unfinished shows (well, I mind unfinished shows when I watch them as they air and I expect more xD but I don't usually mind them for 'unfinished story' reasons alone), and I'm excited to hear that it got even better in S2 because all I've seen is S1. :D
