Summary: Jackie suggests they all play Never Have I Ever.
It wasn’t unusual for Jackie to have suggested some kind of icebreaker at parties with the Yellowjackets; some kind of game to get them all talking had always been her go-to. She can’t remember which party it was where she’d first suggested Never Have I Ever, in fact the only thing she clearly does remember about that is that Laura Lee had been about the only one left sober by the end of it, but she’s pretty sure it had them all laughing at the time.
She thinks of that now, suggests playing it again by the fire even though they have no alcohol with them. As Van makes some joke suggestion, Jackie wonders what would happen if she stood up and said something like “I have never slept with my best friend’s boyfriend”, looking directly at Shauna Shipman as she said it; would she dare to look Jackie in the eye and confess what she had done?

This thin line between Jackie being all lighthearted and her exploding with all her hidden emotions (which never happens until it happens), you can FEEL it in this story and I love it!
