Summary: Sara and her band of dragon hunters encounter a dragon who has unexpected protectors. Part of my Legends Dragonheart AU.
Author's note: This was inspired at first by the illustration on the card itself, depicting a woman gently holding her hand on the head of a lion, which immediately conjured up the picture of Amaya and a dragon, but then the fic went in a different direction, so, now it's kind of for the definitions strength, courage, persuasion, influence, compassion.

This fic includes a male character because it is part of a series and he needs to be there for continuity reasons. He is not the POV and only a very minor character, but I can delete this entry if that is not okay.
