I could not resist today's theme, because I wrote a very appropriate fic for Yuletide 2017:

Summary: On the run from the Wild Hunt, Ciri travels through a series of strange and unfamiliar worlds using the power of her Elder Blood.

Ciri, in The Witcher (books and games), is called "Lady of Space and Time" because she can teleport herself to other worlds. She's my favorite character. If you are familiar with this fandom, you might want to read the story blind, because the crossover canons are fun to identify on your own (some are well-known, others more obscure), but if you aren't, the crossed canons are (in order) A Song of Ice and Fire, The Goblin Emperor, Six of Crows, and Dragon Age (Origins/II), involving (mostly) female characters from those canons. This is set pre-canon for all sources so there are no real spoilers.

It was a blast to write, I can tell you, and the recipient seemed to enjoy it!

I don't know The Witcher or the other three fandoms, so I'm probably not going to end up reading this fic, but I'm still tempted by the ASOIAF crossover because I love fics where this universe is seen from an outsider's POV.

The ASOIAF section is the first after the introductory bit, and it's 2.8k and makes sense in its own right, so you might enjoy it - just scan down (not far) to the first horizontal rule, and start reading there, and quit at the next horizontal rule.

(The one bit of Witcher lore that might be useful is that there is a prophecy that the White Frost will envelop the world and end it, and the end of the third game involves Ciri setting out to stop it from happening. Also Ciri canonically has "ashen" hair, which is rendered as white in the game.)

I enjoy a well written Witcher fic, the world is interesting, and Ciri is very awesome, so I'll look into this!
