I have put together a collection of my woman-centric fiction for those who are interested; the link leads to AO3 because it was easier for me to "collect" them all there! These are primarily Star Trek fics, but there's a smattering of others including Fringe, Firefly/Serenity, White Collar, Gaiman's The Endless, and Resident Evil, among others.

Also, I manage a community, fandom_women, that is meant to be a pan-fandom celebration of women; it's new yet and very quiet but it's there!

Edited to Add: For those of you who like Star Trek, I cannot recommend highly enough the two Valeris stories I have received as gifts:

Every Good Villain by igrockspock which focuses on Valeris' trial, and

I am not in love with salvation by medie which focuses on her life afterward and the stories that are told.

well its new, so it needs time to grow. And with any comm, its the strength of the members that make a good comm. That should be sew on a pillow!

I don't like to say "in real life" because what happens here is just as "real" as stuff that happens in face-to-face; I find meatspace to be a convenient (if, admittedly, somewhat gross) shorthand to use instead.

I like that - that what happens on lj/internet is real, its so frequently considered as frivolous and fake.

Ahh, gotcha on the meatspace thing....makes sense actually.
