This includes both cisgender female characters and transgender female characters (who identify as female in their canon). All fandoms, all characters - both the female characters everyone loves, and the female characters only you do!

Prompt Challenge - Day 1

Apologies for the delay in the posts - we're still working out things like queueing of posts at Tumblr and crossposting here at DW and LJ.

Day 1 of the Prompt Challenge is Legends:



What stories do we tell about female characters? What are their epics, their tales of loyalty, love, and legend? Or what stories are told in the dark of the night, whispered behind hands, or told in lurking chatrooms of the modern world?

(All prompts are simply places to start - don’t feel that you have to stick with the questions asked, or with the character displayed in the header! Go for your life!)

Prompt Challenge - Day 2

Day 2 of the Prompt Challenge is Confrontational

"I can’t be having with that!"

Sugar and spice and all things nice...? Well, not always! Today’s prompt is for female characters who don’t play nice, who speak up and shout out, who see the problem and meet it head-on - or even one of the nice ones who reaches the end of her tether. We’ve seen what happens when women decide to take action - even over the last ten days - things start happening: No More Ms Nice Lady!

Prompt Challenge - Day 3

Even when you’re a superhero and your sister is a secret agent, home is where the pizza fights are.

The prompt for Day 3 is home, for that sense of family that we love our female characters to have. Where does she retreat? Where do she feel safe? Who makes her feel comfortable, 'at home'? And yes, of course the concept of “found family” is perfectly acceptable!
