This is fantastic - awesome women are awesome! Thank you for sharing! But I can't recommend the Mary Poppins books highly enough, because she continues awesome (how could she not?) but we are spared the pastede-on-yay sixties Disney family values!

Thanks! They are indeed very awesome. I have read the books and I did like them--I especially like how she is even more enigmatic in the books--but embarrassingly, Julie Andrews does make the pasted on family values much easier to swallow than they ought to be. :)
