This post marks the end of the 2026 HalfAMoon Fest. It has been a phenomenal year with around 150 individual posts in some diverse fandoms.

Whether you're a newcomer or a returning friend, whether you posted on one day or all fourteen, brought graphics, fics, vids, podcasts, meta, and recs or just came through and commented, thank you for making this a wonderful experience. Thanks also to everyone who promoted the community on their own pages.

I've got a few more comments to catch up on and the masterlist should be up hopefully by the end of the month. Special thanks to sisterdivinium with their help on this again this year.

If you have any thoughts on topics or ways to make next year's fest better, I welcome them in the comments. If you feel like this is something you would like to help out with next year, let me know that in the comments as well.

It has been incredible seeing your creations. Thank you for making the past fourteen days a great celebration of women! See you in February 2027!

Hands-down my favourite part of the year. I'm super happy that I finally got to participate every single day this time around and I already miss it -- good thing there's always 2027 for yet MOAR women! :)

And it's a pleasure to help, truly <3 I only need to give my half of the list one last look but I believe it's ready to go. Shall I send it to the same email as last time?

It's mine too. I loved seeing your daily contributions. We will be rocking and rolling again next year. Would it help if I posted the theme list earlier? Assuming I can get it together earlier. Part of me wants to, and part of me realizes that I may be looking down the barrel at 150 10k word fics if I do so (a good problem to have).

It's so intense but it's also so FUN! And re: the theme list, I've had one or two conversations behind the scenes and I think no one would be opposed to the list being posted a bit earlier :) I was going to mention it could be a good idea but, at the same time, speaking for myself, I know it can be a pain to come up with one prompt, to say nothing of fourteen different ones, so I can barely guess at how much quicker finding them can even be. If possible, however, I really think there would be no complaint to having a bit more time to write or draw or whatever it is anyone might want to share with us all. People's temptation to write more will be there but, yeah, I'd agree that that's good ;)

oh no, I messed up my timezones, I tried so hard. I'm nearly finished with the last chapter, but I guess now I can slow down and post it chapter by chapter one a day instead of yeeting it all out there in the next twenty two minutes like I planned, lmao, since I missed the deadline anyways. This was very fun despite me not making it in the end! I tried something new, it didn't fully work, but yeah, it was fun! Thank you so much for hosting the fest again, it's one of my favourites.

Thank you for organizing it once again! I didn't have the spoons to post every day this year let alone crosspost, but I did the odd days in my own little corner and I'm on my way to catch up with the even days.
