Reccer's Notes: This vid celebrates female representation in pop culture media through the lens of Leia and Rey. How often do we get to see women reprise roles decades later and make such an impact? This vid also feels like a bit of the 'passing of the torch' - fannishly speaking - made more poignant by the loss of Carrie Fisher. Near the end, it includes other female icons from the franchise including some fabulous cosplayers.
It's wonderfully edited! And overall such a wonderful, emotional vid.
