I wrote this in 2015 for not_primetime (I miss this exchange!) in the wake of what Stannis Baratheon did to his daughter, so I'm claiming the "generations" descriptor since this story assumes the next generation survives, and thrives.

This was lovely. I always hated what happened to Shireen and it was nice to be able to see her thriving with her found family.

Thank you! I remember, when I wrote this, just how mad I was about Shireen's fate. It was so wasteful and sad. Glad you liked the future I imagined for her.
