I saw The Dark Crystal a long time ago, but I remember liking it so much when I saw it. I'll definitely have to rewatch it soon.

Did you know about the Netflix prequel series? Ten episodes in a first season; they're planning a second one as well. Visually stunning, good storytelling, gorgeous music... It's called The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

I thought the first episode was a bit slow, but the story really found its pacing as the season moved forward. So give at least two episodes a try before making a judgment call; that's my advice.
