Fandoms and Interests:I'm from Supernatural fandom originally, although I had other encounters with fandom-y stuff first. It's complicated. SPN sucked me in and didn't let me go and I've been polyfannish ever since. I will try my hand at whatever people request, with some basic limits. I also enjoy retelling fairy tales and mythology. I mostly write fannish stuff but I'm being more vocal on here occasionally about trans stuff (even occasionally by accident lol.)
Looking for others who post: I'm not really here as often as I was on LJ, so I'm open to whatever you want to share. But I do mostly keep it fannish, because this is a fannish space for me I guess. I feel like this space is a bit separate from my other online spaces.
Things about me: I have 2 cats, I am disabled, I am somewhere in the neighborhood of bi/queer. Due to disability I'm home a lot. I write a lot. A lot of everything.

I didn't realize you had three cats. I've seen pics of the little black house panther. Are the other two black as well?

I really ought to get around to posting about the little ones, who aren't so little.

Back in September, we acquired a Gray Floof and a Smol Void that is a tinier version of the black panther you mentioned. He is now Large Void. They have the same white spot, and the same brown fur when in a sunbeam...

I love gray cats as well as little voids. I really just love all cats - it's sad that I am allergic and can't adopt any of my own.

When I lived in NC, we had cats. And, as someone that state personally tried to kill with allergens, I was afraid I'd become allergic too.

Turns out, if your body is overloaded by grass and weed and tree pollens, ALL allergens become an issue.

Moved to a slightly more sensible state, and I have no issues with the cats. Apparently, as it is the molds here killing me, the dander is a non-entity.

(Ask me how happy I am that, 12 years into living here, we JUST discovered it is the molds? But I'd been a night worker, mostly, and wasn't being exposed heavily until this past year.)

That's great that it turned out the issue wasn't with the cats. They are such a joy.

Unfortunately when I went through the full series of allergy tests we discovered I'm allergic to both molds and cats. :(
