The "playing games" theme gave me the idea for this rec set of vids about female athletes. I've skipped individual blurbs here but they're all fantastic vids about the power and persistence of the athletes and the moving highs and lows of defeats and victories in sports.

Content notes: all vids contain some amount of lights from camera flashes and/or the camera movement typical in live sports. Some vids have blurryness or other artifacts from older/transferred footage, in particular Diva and Tightrope.

So...I pretty much haven't been reading fic at all, and thus have no new recs to share, and I doubt I will before the 14th. :-/ Instead, here are all the fics I've written with female POV characters, all of which I consider reccable quality.
