The potential keeps drawing us back in, even though the reality can be horribly frustrating. <span style='white-space: nowrap;'><a href='http://liviapenn.livejournal.com/profile'><img src='https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif' alt='[livejournal.com profile] ' style='vertical-align: text-bottom; border: 0; padding-right: 1px;' width='17' height='17'/></a><a href='http://liviapenn.livejournal.com/'><b>liviapenn</b></a></span> and I ran an obscure-character challenge for comics called Comica Obscura for a couple of years, and the thing I'm most proud of about the challenge is that the ratio of male to female feature characters was almost fifty-fifty.
