Subject: Jesse Flores (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles)
(SPOILERS)
Jesse Flores is seems to be rather overlooked among the women of T:TSCC - probably because she's the Connors' antagonist. But I like that she is an antagonist with such valid reasons and motivations. In a show full of mother figures and fighting women, she is both a woman who has lost her unborn child and a commander who has lost her crew to the machines. And so she decides to become a combatant in a different way, to protect humanity like she thinks it should be done. She has the same goals as Sarah and John - and that is why she undermines them. She wants to save - and that is why she is willing to coldly sacrifice someone who loves and trusts her. Like most additions to the T:TSCC ensemble, Jesse is pretty damn complex and fascinating.
